I have returned to this forum after a long absence (since 2007) and it has been upgraded and my old id doesn't work anymore.

I have two cars:-

1999 w202 c230k saloon 142,000 miles
1994 w124 e300d estate 211,000 miles

Both cars have travelled from London to Russia (and back)

In 2006 I took the w202 to Spain, France & Italy
In 2008 I took the w202 to Sweden and Norway

Highlights of various trips:-

Oresund bridge between Denmark & Sweden
Mont Blanc tunnel in France
Grand St Bernard pass in Switzerland and Italy
Trollstigen Pass and Geiranger village in Norway
Italian autostradas - all bridges and tunnels
Avoiding all motoring fines in Russia over 10 years without paying any bribes
A ZIL truck crashing into the back of my car in Moscow in 2005, the insurance claim, and my victory after 3 months, RECO paid me RBL45,000
Waiting at the border for 15 hours to get into Russia, 2009.
